When it comes to business insurance, every policy is different. While you can use your own insurance coverage, it is important to understand that many policies do not provide complete coverage. In fact, in many states and provinces, your automobile insurance may not cover commercial rentals at all. If your insurance policy does not cover the rental or offer enough coverage, you may be required to purchase one of Ryder’s rental protection options. Even if your policy provides coverage, if your vehicle should be disabled, you will still be faced with coordinating vehicle towing, calling in the claim, filling out paperwork, securing a replacement vehicle, and possibly even paying a higher premium. In addition, you must consider the liability exposure of property damage and personal injury claims that could be costly to your business. With Ryder protection coverage, we take care of everything.
