I am writing to bring your attention to a serious issue that urgently needs addressing. There is an individual named Eugenia Cooney living in your state who is suffering from a severe late-stage eating disorder. She is extremely malnourished and close to death. This situation is further exacerbated by her very public presence online, which could potentially influence and lead others, especially children, to adopt harmful eating behaviors.
Corporate entities YouTube and Twitch have done nothing about the situation, despite the clear signs of mental distress she is displaying. Their inaction only encourages further harm. However, as a state, you have the resources and authority to intervene.
I urge you to take immediate action to ensure that law enforcement apprehends Eugenia Cooney and mandates her to seek treatment for her eating disorder in appropriate medical facilities. If nothing is done soon, she will surely die, and many will question why no action was taken. Many have been calling on someone to help this girl for years. I urge you to ensure that she seeks treatment and is able to recover, using your powers as the State of Connecticut.
